ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED…we have sold all available places
WE ARE CELEBRATING OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY!!!!
Our 1st ever H5 was held in June 1999, and for our 25th year we are planning a BIG ONE
ENTRIES WILL OPEN AT 5pm on MONDAY, MARCH 25th 2024
There have been some upgrades to the RunBritain entry system, and we are told that we will NOT see a repeat of the system crashes, we have all suffered, over the last few years. We also have NOT sold out, in the last few years (our race limit has been upped slightly) so we do NOT EXPECT to sell out in a major panic. ENTRIES WILL OPEN AT 5pm on MONDAY, MARCH 25th 2024…and only close, once we reach our race limit. Follow us via Facebook & Twitter, for updates regarding places left available, in the week of March 25th
We’ve not only kept our Unaffiliated entry price the same as last year, but have actually reduced the price, for Affiliated runners (dropping it to £19.99). This a clear nod to our theme for race day!!!
Consistently rated by Runners World UK as one of their top 50 UK races & consistently rated by the Harvel Hash House Harriers as one of their top days out!! We are gonna party like it’s 1999!!!
WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER PLACES ‘ON THE DAY’ plus THERE IS NO WAITING LIST. We will NOT be able to allow runners to DEFER their entry to 2025, however RunBritain WILL assist you in allowing runners to SWAP their race place, with another runner, in advance of Race Day. We will need your substitute runners assistance to make that happen and with a deadline of 5pm on May 17th (the deadline as we need to finalise our database and prep the runner envelopes). Requests for swaps after 5pm on Friday May 17th cannot be accommodated.
Think of our event as a “well organised, club-based 5 mile race, collided with an English country village fete, and complete with an industrial-sized tanker full of beer” and you will pretty much have described our race. At the end of the day, we are a Hash Club after all!
Our faster runners will complete the course in around 25 minutes, whereas we know that our event also attracts newer, less speedy runners. We encourage all abilities Run partly on (partially closed) roads, plus through the Trottiscliffe Country park, and set on the edge of the North Downs, it is a simply beautiful event. Chat to your running club mates or check out our reviews to get a full sense of what you are letting yourself in for:
We hope to see you on the day…Till then
